For Aloha

A series of illustrations that celebrate some of the wonderful food and friends that reside in Hawaii.

In Hawaiian, Aloha means hello, goodbye, love, and "the presence of breath." For these illustrations, I focused on the aloha that locals grew up with – the ono kine grinds (delicious foods) and the beautiful fauna and flora that inhabit the islands.
